Nicholas Barrett​

Nicholas has been practising and teaching yoga for over 25 years. He’s had the privilege of going to India over 11 times and working with true yoga Masters at various ashrams around the subcontinent. 

He’s very passionate about all things yoga, and genuinely believes that yoga can make us stronger individuals with more courage and confidence to face life's ups and downs with greater harmony and ease. And conversely, Nicholas also believes that yoga can make us more Self reflective, and to soften in our hearts our breath and in our mind and body, and to learn what true relaxation really is, and how this helps us to navigate and understand that through our life of knowing when to soften and when to be strong.

His teaching style can be at times dynamic and invigorating and while other times allowing the students to explore deeply into the heart essence through the surrendering practices of yin and relax yoga.

He regularly practices and shares asana (postures), pranayama (breathwork), dhyana (meditation)
and mantras (devotional chanting) as a way of touching one’s own existence and the core of one’s own being.

Moment Matters
​
Tali Rose completed a Dance Movement Psychotherapy MA at Roehampton University in 2009. She later went on to specialise in moving outside in the natural environment, apprenticing to Dance Movement Psychotherapist and movement facilitator Dr. Sandra Reeve who runs Move Into Life. Tali then travelled to Java to work with SuPrapto Suryadarmo and his Amerta Movement practice for Summer 2014 where Tali connected very deeply to the heart of this lineage of movement work. Tali weaves in Move into Life, shamanism, yoga, meditation and DMP influences into her own guided, mindful movement practice called Movement Matters. Classes have been running both online and in person since 2017.
